Cabo Vegan Catering Services
All vegan, this family-run local catering service offers traditional Cabo Verdean dishes recreated 100% plant-based, along with other inventive dishes. They deliver in and around the Boston and South Shore areas, and serve at local Brockton-area events. A brick-and-mortar restaurant to be located in downtown Brockton is in the works. Their presentation of the classic Cape Verdean dish cachupa or katxupa stew omits the meat and uses slow-stewed hominy (corn), beans, yuca and sweet potato. Their “chuna” snack roll uses chickpeas with celery, vegan mayo, onions, garlic, shredded carrots, dried cranberries, walnuts, and sea vegetables for a better-than-tuna dish. Their lobsterless roll uses hearts of palm with mayo, dill, lemon, and ocean spices. Sweet coconut chickpea curry, mac and cheeze, and nutritious smoothies and fresh-press juices add to their offerings.
