On behalf of the residents of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I am pleased to confer upon you this Governor’s Citation in recognition of the 30th anniversary of the Boston Veg Food Fest. Founded in 1988, your all-volunteer nonprofit has provided years of advocacy for and education about clean and conscious eating. During this celebration, you provide a fun and welcoming way to learn about how what we choose to eat can affect our personal health and the world around us — the environment, the climate, and the animals. The Commonwealth thanks you for the positive impact you have had on our community and wishes you another successful event.
